I have to electroplate hard chrome on the bore of an engine cylinder and I need to evaluate the adhesion of the coating.
I want to know which kind of coating adhesion test methods are suitable for cylinder bore? I found the bending method in the Internet search but I am not sure about that. which method is frequently applied by the engine cylinder manufacturers?
I read ASTM B571 standard but it does not say any thing about application cases of each test method.
