hey there
i know nothing about batterys so im wondering if u guys can help me out...

ive noticed that all commercial li-ion battery packs have a 3rd terminal most often labeled "T" im guessing that this is the terminal that links to the electronics within the battery pack. am i right? or is there another reason?

thanks
Daniel

Probably a temperature sensor. The sensor will use that terminal plus one of the other two to provide a signal back to the charger.
