Tear Out Test Per EEMUA Publication 143

I have a customer requirement to perform a tear out test per EEMUA Pub. 143. I am familiar with a pull out test to qualify a tube to tubesheet strength weld but I am not familiar with this requirement.

Does anyone have experience with this particular testing and how it is different from a pull test?
