TASK MANAGER AND UPDATING CONFIGURATION PROPERIES QUESTION 1

The Task Manager works pretty well with only one exception...since i do not know how many or the names of the possible configurations in any of the files there are without manually opening each file (and there are 100's of files) is there a way to force the TM to apply the properties to the congigurations in a file (ever how many and name variations) VIa a "wild card" or other methods?
