Well I tried to search for a related thread and could not find one, so creating a new one. But if such a thread exists, please direct me there, thank you. I am trying to define the contact between two gears and it worked perfectly before without Substrcture. But I receive a warning when I use usbstructures. I do not want go into much details because I do not want to confuse anyone. I wish to have answer only for following question:
I receive a warning as "Tangent directions used to enforced contact constraints for contact pair (tooth-2-005,tooth-1-001) will not rotate with either surface." I wish to know the exact meaning of the warning and what are the possibilities to resolve it. Actually the calculation in abaqus goes ahead inspite of the warning message and it worked till few steps and then it gives me an error "too many increments required for this step". I think may be it is better to resolve this warning first and then work ahead on other other things.

*SURFACE INTERACTION, NAME=INTPROP-1
1.,

*SURFACE BEHAVIOR, PRESSURE-OVERCLOSURE=HARD
**
*CONTACT PAIR, INTERACTION=INTPROP-1, TYPE=SURFACE TO SURFACE
Rad_1.TOOTH-1-001, Rad_2.TOOTH-2-001

I think it is possible that more information is required on the topic and I will be happy to provide so in case required. Thank you.

Regards,
Marko
