Here's a question that is pretty basic......
Are ISO Specs something that you have to pay for to retrieve? I believe our company has a subscription to ISO for Specs, but when I called our Documentation group for a copy of ISO 14581 for Flathead T10 Screws, they didn't have a copy.
My belief would be that our Engineering Cost Center would have to absorb the cost, right?
Related to this is that the Specs available for a T10 Flathead screw, (Bossard "Hexalobular socket flat head screw, fully threaded) do not have a dimensional breakdown of the lobes. (only outer diameter and depth of the pocket for the lobes).
I suggested using our MicroVu Optical Measurement system in QC for mapping our own "known good" product, as a baseline, but that's a gamble too.
Suggestions? Thoughts? Ideas?
