Hello,

This is my first thread. This is also my first real project after college. I am working on the pinger magnet for the CESR ring here at Cornell. I understand that there is a ferrite core encased with copper plating on both sides. Does anybody know the best way to attach the ferrite core pieces togetehr (they are C-blocks that wrap around half the beam tube) and the copper plating. I think that the inner plate is high voltage and the outer plate is grounded.

Thanks a bunch. Any help would be... well helpful, and appreciated.

Have a nice day.

Epoxy?

Thanks Nbucska. I know that perhaps thermal epoxy may be a bad choice, but would it make a difference if I used 5 minute epoxy vs. 20 minute epoxy?

I appreciate the help.
