SWx to Step export issue

Hi,

I have a part that has about 50 features. among them there is a feature linear patterned (about 50 instances). then this linear pattern is mirrored. Later, both pattern and the mirror are patterned about 25 instances.

The part was 35 MB. I used eco squeese and its now 7 MB.

I cant export to STEP. It simply freezes SWx. I have tried on 2-3 computers, the problem persists.

Any tips is appriciated.

Are you able to export to any other format?

If you can, try parasolid, open in SW and then export to STEP.

Also, can the mirror feature be made after the original pattern is patterned? It probably won't make a difference, but is worth a try.

I was able to export to IGES, but not to Step.
Will try the mirror later in the tree. Will keep posted.
