sworks 2010... anybody have problems deleting text?

If I select text, then use my hot key "E" for delete, nothing happens. If I select the text and hit the DELETE key or go to EDIT/DELETE, it works. My very handy E hotkey does not. Anyone else have this problem with 2010 SP2.1 ?

Update...it only seems to happen if im in "edit sheet format" and trying to delete text on the titleblock or other text...

Does the standard keyboard Delete key work?

Use middle button to highlight text, right click select delete.
