Has anyone tried it yet? Any problems?

Good lord, 644 SPRs addressed.

Gildashard,

That surprises you? Going from SP2.0 to SP4.0 caused just as many problems as it fixed for us. Hopefully the problems I have were addressed (ws have several SPRs). I will have to check out what was fixed.

Regards,

Regg

That's a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure if they were going to do SP5. Good thing, too, since we're probably not upgrading to SW08 until at least early next year. A friend of mine just got the green light from his company to upgrade -- to 2007. [banghead]

In the past, 2006 and earlier, I understood companies waiting to move to the newest version, but I don't understand it now. '07 and '08 have both been very stable for me from beta through pre-release to SP0.0. I have both '07 and '08 on my laptop with no real issues to speak of.
Just my $.02...

I think that the '07 SP5 release is a good option for the folks that aren't going to upgrade to '08, but my guess is that for those of us that are moving to '08 by the time we get used to SP5, we will be neck deep in the '08 upgrade. Do I get $.01 for my thoughts? :)
