IS there a way for the suspension to compensate for the loss/gain of weight during driving?

The idea is to improve vehicle mpg by decreasing weight at moderate to high speeds.

I don't really understand your dea, but I think the answer is no.

Using aerodynamic lift to reduce the weight on the tires, and so reducing the rolling resistance is possible, unfortunately the increased drag from the aerodynamics uses more energy than the reduction in RR gives back (by a factor of 10 or so).
