I have a garage that is suspended over a basement area. The garage area is 28 ft by 28 ft. The floor is concret poured onto steel decking. There is a center beam that runs the length of the basment and supports the decking and floor. I am a layman so I hope to get some advice on erecting dividing walls onto the garage floor. How do I attached the walls to the floor. I want to ensure I do not cause structure damage to the suspended floor. Any help would be appreciated.

You can use tapcon screws to secure the walls to the concrete slab. The top of the wall should have a sliding connection and a gap to the ceiling. The connection should keep the wall from falling over but allow the 'roof?' to deflect and not load the wall.
