Is anyone familiar with cleaning processes by blasting the surface with dry ice? I have found numerous references on the internet about usage in the aircraft industry for cleaning skins, etc. but cannot find a process specification anywhere. I assume most of these are internally developed process specs.

As of right now, I am interested in cleaning of primarily two parts: on one the substrate is 625 Inconel sheet per AMS 5599, the second is A286 SS per AMS 5525.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,
John Morris
