I am trying to calculate the support loads resulting from running an above ground pipeline round a large radius curve on guided supports at regular intervals.
Pipe is 8 in, curve radius 153 m, curve angle 15 deg and support spacing 8 m. (Note that the pipe is high pressure GRE.)
The entry and exit to the curve is a straight section, guided and supported as in the curve.
I have searched text books for a solution but noe I have found are suitable.
Any advice would be appreciated.
