I have been approached about helping a shop come up with some models and drawings concerning vehicle exhaust piping systems. They are making some custom setups for numerous vehicles and working in an oil tools market myself this will be a new challenge for me. I have no doubts I can get it done as needed, but would like any suggestions any of you may have when it comes to something of this nature. I need to get a few hours under my belt with this before I accept the offer from the company and decide to work with them on this matter. My current access to programs is Solidworks, and although very rusty, some ProE.

Thank you in advance.

Brad

I have done this for a company in the past. When I get home tonight I will post a pic of a header I did....it's really easy in SWx.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

Go through the tutorial and help menu. Start a new part and try different stuff.

Heckler-
Something along those lines would be appreciated.

I have played around with a few models already and have several years of modeling experience and training, so it's not really the use of the programs. I'm just looking towards any pointers someone may have from problems they encountered along the way or suggestions to make life easier with trying out a new endeavor such as this.
