Subtitution of filler metals

If we use filler (SG2) instead of ER70S-6, shall we qualify our WPS with a new PQR?
(As you know SG2 is in DIN 8559 and is equivalent to ER70S-6, but it is not listed in ASME.)

If the manufacturer certifies the material to both specifications and states so on the documentation, of course you're covered, but, if not, per the rules in ASME Sec IX, you would have to qualify the consumable.
