stud welding manufacture process

hi.
i need to wlding stud bolt like that show in picture technical drawing.
i downloaded iso 13918 but there isnt any information about aluminium tip.

the picture show a weld stud with aluminum tip.
i want to know size of aluminum and manufacturing process.
 
You'll probably find more info in ISO 14555, however it's not clear to me what exactly you need.
Also, are you sure that the picture and what you describe, are the same? Doesn't look like it.

This is what carbon steel studs in small diameters usually look like:

and the larger studs indeed have a similar tip, but they are different in appearance:

A good starting point is the manufacturer of the machine. Contact them for the settings. And procedure. Then AWS
