Hi All

shall someone tell me what are the sources of vibration on corrugation machines, and which points ought to be measured to assess the modal analysis ?

What machine?
What is problem?
Have you made any vibrations measurements yet?
Have you tried Operating Deflection Shape (ODS) test while machine is running?
Do you have impulse hammer, accelerometer(s), analyzer/DAQ, and software for modal analysis?
Have you conducted modal analysis on other types of machines or structures?

No dear Walt, I have not applied them, It was a generalistic question, to know the possible faults and the occasions and parts of these machines that the testers are more keen to inspect, due to their operational conditions. It's to know this activity better, about these machines. Also I haven't experience on Vibration measurement, mostly am interested to learn about them now

Also I would like to know, when there's a discussion of FEM models to be compared to analysis results, how much would one adhere to the need of using structure optimization for the structure modification?
