Hi,

I am new to Strand7. This is what I would like to do:

I want to draw a hollow tube, 1m high with a radius of 3m and thickness of 6mm. Shape similar to a toilet roll carboard tube. I have created my cylindrical UCS. But I have no idea how to draw a circle that I can extrude up in to a hollow tube.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Regards

Raj

well..I would start by reading the manual.....
Strand7 Manual is pretty good one

Have a look at Tools- Points and Lines.

You can create a circle with any number of segments from three nodes; either three points on the circumference or the centre and one point on the circumference with a third point to define the plane.

Having defined a circle you can extrude it into a cylinder.

As well as the manual, have a look at the Web Notes, assuming you have a supported copy of Strand7.
