Hi,

I am working in storm water design for a underground car park and I can not find any reference about how much water I have to calculate for underground levels where no rain falls, only water caring for cars. Any suggest?

Regards,

KMora

If this is in a cold climate, slush and snow-melt off the cars might be the biggest source of water.

No cold climate, but a lot of rain, Costa Rica is a rainy country. Any idea??

I'm not sure if wet cars will shed much rainwater when they enter a garage. But I assume you would need to handle any water from a fire hose or sprinkler system, which could be a much higher volume and flow rate than from the cars.

I trust that the top of the slab is above the maximum water table? If not then seepage in times of high water could be a possible consideration too.
