hello bump,
The last I knew of the retention of records for nuclear safety related items was for the duration of the life of the plant. This may have changed since I last was involved with record review and storage but based on the critical nature of the components.....Well you get the drift. Yes indeed, consult 10 CFR 50 etc as referred by Mr. Breen. He kows whereof he speaks. On the personal side I have kept personal inspection journals from a nuclear construction project back in the late 70s early 80s. They dont take up much space but the may help jog the brain cells should the need arise. Hope not though. Look also for the possibility and acceptability of using CD ROM as a storage media. As long as the data was signed and dated by an authorized individual it should be ok.
