Morning all-

If I'm updating a drawing (V5 R18) and give it a new release number, sometimes I'll go to "save as" (to upissue the title) and accidentally click save instead. Bit of a pain. I know it's a long shot, but is there any way of adding a check message to confirm, or do I just need to be better at my job? Because that sounds like no fun.
We're not using any kind of PDM here, it's a pretty small business- so it's all done manually.

Cheers

Simon

we don't have PLM either. when you do new revision why not to use save manager. open part and drawing, go to save manager and save as both files with a new revision letter following by part number. move old files to archive. why do you change revisions manually in drawing?
in our case it's a mandatory not to edit manually revisions, part numbers in drawing. our title block linked to part properties. just edit part properties, go back to drawing and hit update title block.
