Stiffnes Matrix of an inclined element

How do we evaluate the stifness matrix of an inclined cantilever beam element. Does the inclination of the beam affect the performance of the beam element.
Does refinemnt of such a beam element would affect the solution??

Don't really understand your question....The local (element based) stiffness is independent of orientation however the global stiffness does depend on orientation...

Not sure what you mean by "refinement"...more elements or higher order elements will affect the solution results...
