Hello

I am using single angles for a substation structure, when i check the steel design sap2000 shows the principal rotation as 90° instead of 45°.

This value makes the D/C ratio too much lower, so i want to know if it is an sap 2000 error.

i tried using a single bar and it uses 45° for principal rotation, so i am confused. Besides using the steel designer it always shows the principal rotation as 90°. In the wikicsi page indicates to rotate the local axis, but it doesnt change it.

Ill, apreciate if you can give me some clue about it.
