I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SUPERHEATED STEAM CAN BE TREATED AS AN INCOMPRESSIBLE FLUID IN BEND.

Latexman, David and Greg, I want to thank you all for your contribution, i am simply doing a pressure drop calculation in bends with steam at 400 degree celcuis and my highest velocity 25m/s, i was wondering if i assume steam to be incompressible can i get a close answer? that is the reason i post the thread.

5umbzyyr,
Point well taken. I'm sorry that I dragged this discussion into the weeds. I hope that you got the answer to you question. Katmar provided a very cogent answer early on--"yes you can".
