Guys kindly help me with this symbol (the one w/ red markings). I want to be sure if i'm correct on this one. Other drawings in our company uses other standards and its f*cked up.

Judging by the flow direction and text (max 15 bar) it's a pressure regulator that dumps excess pressure to atmosphere ?

Does it connect to some sort of actuator cylinder ?

It almost looks like a homegrown sight glass symbol.

What do 'CX' and the double asterisk signify - is there anything on the P&ID legend?

@Gator CX is tagging for Miscellaneous-Other Mechanical... ** = to be supplied by vendor

@C2it no actuator cylinder

What is 841-XX-002-A? What is the vertical device sitting on the "support structure" attached to 841-XX-002-A downstream of SV-808 and XV-808?

It's on an (instrument) air line, so maybe it's a dessicant dryer with a sight glass in it.

"As the desiccant becomes saturated with moisture, the dew
point will begin to rise. This is evident when the blue silica
gel desiccant beads in the sight glass change to pink,
indicating the need for desiccant replacement.
"

Is that a blower where it says, "FROM MAIN ENGINE"?

Is there some reason why you can't call the equipment vendor or whoever provided the P&ID?

841-XX-002-A would be the tag for the thermal oil exhaust gas heater. Here is a more detailed pic. The more i look at it, the more it looks like an air release trap. Thoughts?

This may be a instrument air filter regulator to drop out any water condensate in IA air lines ?

The connection arrangement for this 841 CX 006 looks different from the one for 841 CX 005 - may be a minor drafting discrepancy.

PS The "pipe cut" shown downstream of TT-820 is wrong. It should look more like 'metal rod':

Pedant mode reset to off.

I am guessing this a rotameter with integral (globe) valve.
