Steam Rings

Just popped in to drop a question:

I would like to know where I can find a standard (API, NFPA,...) or some kind of specification that indicates required flowrate and pressure for steam rings at flange connections (depending on size, etc.. ?)

Anybody has some experience/idea on what steam flowrates must be used to deal with eventual leaks on flanges protected with these steam ring devices?
