Hi,
I'm having difficulties solving for this case, let say I wanted to design a steam generator (not a boiler, you could say it's like a evaporator) and I wanted to generate steam in the unit therefore my saturation temperature would it depend on my water inlet pressure or else? My basic understanding would be saturation temperature depends on what pressure the medium is, therefore if I have a water coming in at 8 barA (7 barg inlet pressure) then my saturation temperature would be around 170 degC.
Kindly correct if my understanding is correct otherwise kindly share your wise experience with me.
Thanks in advance!
