start part & MASTER MODEL MERGE

how do we create a start part..and what are the steps in MASTER MODEL MERGE technique?? please help

Create a Start Part:

Create a Part and add the Datum Planes/Axis/Coord Sys, Saved Views and Parameters you always want to have. Save this and place in the Template Directory.

Next set the Config.Pro option for template_solidpart. There is also a Config for Asm and Sheetmetal Parts.

Next create a Mapkey to calls out this Template Start Part.
