Hello, we are looking for US mill to supply a specific 2.375" stainless steel bar:
Certificate: Each steel must be delivered with material cert 3.1B according to DS/EN 10204.
Steel Quality: 1,4057 X 17CrNi16-2 - according to DS/EN10088 part 1 and 3
Ultimate strength (Rm) between 800-900 N/mm2
Yield point (RpO,2)' between 600-700N/mm2
Hardness (HB) Maximum 295 (EN 10003-1)
Elongation (A5) Lo=5,65do Minimum 14% (EN 10002-1)
Impact Strength (Kv) Minimum 25 Joule at minus 20 deg C, according to the Charpy-V method. EN 10045-1. Extra test at minus 40 deg to be submitted, but without any specific requirements.
Alternative, if the energy at minus 40 deg C, is larger than 25 Joule, the following strengths are accepted:
Ultimate strength (Rm) Between 800-950 N/mm2
Yield point (RpO,2)' Between 600-750 N/mm2
The material of entrance for each batch must be ultrasonic tested (UT) according to DS/EN 10308. Scanning coverage: complete (table 1), probe type 1a (table 1) and Quality class 3 (table 3).
Can you help me find a US equivalent that meets these specs? Are you aware of a US supplier we can contact?
