I have just received a mail mentioning that furnace liners casting grade HK for copper smelter are failing early. Please suggest if anyone has any experience in this area. Will be most grateful for any assistance.

C 0,4-0,6; Cr 35-37; Ni 45-48; Si 1-2; Nb 0,8-1,2; Mo 0,5-0,8; Ti 0,5-0,8;

This is the alloy which my good friends from AFE Klefisch have recommended.

The cost is going to be prohibitive I suppose for replacement
