Code - ASME Sec IX. Material on PQR - 347H SS (1.338" Thick)
I have a PQR with the following heat treatment cycle.
One single cycle, AMB to 1000°F (@400°F/hr) hold 1.8 hrs , 1000-2025°F (400°F/hr), hold 3hrs, cool @ 200°F/hr to 1650°F hold for 5.5 hrs - cooled in still air.
Can I use the above cycle to support WPS with the cycle. 1600 - 1625 F for 4 hours. Per QW-407.1 (b)(2) of ASME Sec IX, PWHT shall be within a specified temperature range.
