ST traditional - can't use reference plane in sketch

In a part file, I have created an angled plane about 30 degrees from the top plane.

In the sketch environment on this plane, I see the Front plane as a vertical line. I try to use it as reference for mirrored elements, or place dimensions to it, and I can't. I can't use any constraint on it either; it's like it is not there.

This is driving me nuts!!! Is it supposed to do that?!? I don't believe I ever had this problem in V20.

I tried changing the Application Display settings to no avail. This is really hampering my work as I absolutely need to make sure some elements in my sketch are symmetric in reference to the Front plane, and I can't because of this stupid bug (if it's a bug)!

Any solution or workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Not having any problem here. Very strange.

ST1 MP8 (i think)

I've had the same problem today in a different part. It's infuriating!

I had a similar problem with some parts in V20. I couldn't include edges of some reference planes in an assembly sketch.
I never got to the bottom of the problem, but we've put later SP's on and not had the problem again.

I think I'll do a clean install of SE again when I have some time.
