Can anyone tell me where to get a tutorial to make a square to round transition.

Something like this?

Two Sketches on different Planes, Loft-Feature --> done.

Thanks

I should have said it is a sheet metal part and I need to be able to unfold it.

:)

Now that´s something completely different ;)

Sorry, can´t help you with sheet metals, never did that...

In SW 2010 there is a Lofted Bend feature in the Sheet Metal tools. You do the same thing as above, two sketches on different planes. The only thing you need to do is break the circle and square so that they are not closed loops. I had to play around a bit, changing the order the sketches were selected to get it to work.

Actually, on the sheet metal tab in the ribbon there is a lofted bend command that should be right up your alley. Haven't used it personally though.
