Greetings Gear & Pulley gurus,

i wish to drive a screen equipment
at 1.3 r.p.m constant speed.

i have a gear reducer operating
with a VFD (variable frequency drive)
capable of 0.5 to 5 r.p.m.

the output shaft on the gear reducer
will be set at 1.3 r.p.m using the
VFD.

there will be a chain sprocket on
the gear reducer output shaft & a
chain sprocket on the screen equipment
shaft.

what is the number of teeth to be
selected for the drive output shaft
& the screen equipment shaft ?

the drive output shaft diameter
is 50mm & for the screen equipment
shaft it is 50mm.

If you have constant speed, it seems like you are wasting money on the vfd.

Choose the driver sprocket at 15 teeth then calculate the ratio required to have 15 teeth on the driven sprocket. Now adjust your vfd to get 1.3 rpm. Voila.
