Hi all,

I found there was a thread 569-124712 discussed the spring. There is a link , in which more complex spring was constructed.

But I found the macro file provided by the link ( did not work in Ansys 13. Could any expert modify it to work in Ansys 13?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Steve

Also, I would like to ask how to get the circumferential strain on the turn (inner and outer) surfaces.

p.s. The image was imported from Autodesk Inventor to the Ansys workbench. I still did not manage to complete in Ansys.

Thanks.

Steve
