I have need to have a panel bent/broken so that the entire panel is one part. For this application, I would like to include a push-to-close latch of my own design (still all one piece). Does anyone have any ideas on which form of steel to use? Keep in mind that I would like to keep cost down on what is already sure to be a pricey part for outsourced production. I was leaning towards using a carbon steel like 1010, but I'm unsure as to whether or not it will have any issues with yield.
Thanks,
