I have inserted a design table into a drawing. I now want to split it similar to splitting a BOM table. I have tried to right click in the table but do not see this option. Is there a way to do this?

Hello SA,

As far as I know there is no command to do this. This would be an excellent enhancement.

You may have to copy and paste the top half of the design table into your drawing, and then copy and paste the bottom half of the design table. Of course this is not parametric at all.

cheers,

Joseph

Not that I know of.

A workaround is to make a copy of the first sheet onto a second sheet in the same DT, and manipulate both it to show what you need and then insert both sheets into the drawing.

Each sheet has to be active when closed before inserting into the drawing.

josephv and CorBlimeyLimey,

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. Was just as I suspected. I will mention the enhancement to my VAR if they ever call me back today. Another option may be to write a macro to transfer a DT into a general table. That I can split.

Your VAR might turn it in, but you really need to turn that in as an EV yourself. If you want something done you must do it yourself.
