In Autocad 2000 I am having a problem when using spline leaders and large arrowheads – go figure! If I modify the current style to support an arrowhead size of 6 feet and I check the DIMASZ and it is set to 6 feet; when I draw the leader (no text or mtext) the arrowhead is either much smaller than 6 feet or no arrowhead is drawn. If I check the proprieties of the spline the size is 6 feet but the spline type is now set to (spline no arrow!) It changes to splin with arror only when I reduce the arrowhead size to some magic size like 3 inches – help? Am I missing another variable set somewhere that is preventing the parameters set by the dim style dialogbox? Thanks

All leaders are controlled by the first two vectors used to create them. If the two vectors (first two points picked define a length) is not at least 2 times the length of the arrowhead then the arrow is not shown. Dimscale can vary the results of this also. Spline vector points can be seen with grips after it is created. I hope this helps.

borgunit was correct THANK YOU! the spline arrowhead is vector driven. I will also fool aorund with the scale. Thanks again
