Hi,

I have a simple question concerning the basis of the spline by poles of studio spline. Is it a B-spline or an other kind of spline generation made by NX?

B-spline

Yes. it's a B-Spline. Why the question?

Thank you John,

I only have to reproduce the B-Spline of a set of a 3rd order B-spline x,y base points.I wanted to make sure it gives the exact shape.

If it's a NURBS, where can I control each point weight?

NX doesn't allow you to modify the weight. You can see the weight (1.0) if you do Information - Spline - Complete.

If i remember things correct, there is / was a way to modify the weight in the old edit spline dialog. ( the "before studio spline" edit.)

Regards,
Tomas
