Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find data about propeller spinner drag?

Is there an ideal elliptical relation? nose radius? or whatever?

(At relatively low speeds, incompressible and Re=0.3e6)

Thanks in advance,

Gerrit

Hoerner "Fluid Dynamic Drag" would be where i'd start

I've got it, didn't find anything skimming through the book, I'll look again...

I'd try Roskam series. It contains a lot of drag estimations for shapes when you are in the design step.

Hey, thanks, I didn't think about that.

I think I've got them somewhere, I'll look it up.
