Specification for EN8

Please can somebody help clear this up for me…

If I want EN8 and I want to use the latest standard, I don’t call it 080M40 (BS970) so do I call it C40 (1.0511) or C40E (1.1186)?

Also is the applicable standard
BS EN 10083 – 2 : 2006
or
BS EN 10277 – 2 : 2008 for C40 (1.0511)
and
BS EN 10277 – 5 : 2008 for C40E (1.1186)

??? Confusing or what!?
