There's a lot of airplane hitting things lately

Poems are made by fools like me, but only God can make a tree. engineers creates wonderful buildings, but only God can creates wonderful minds

good photos.

Now for the $64,000 Question: How long will it take the Kool-Aid drinking 911 conspiracy theory bunch to say, "how come this building didn't collapse after being hit by a plane?"

Trust me Bridgebuster, they're definitely out there on some of the news commentaries and blogs.

I refrain from even commenting on some of those sites because its like arguing with a bowling ball. Make any kind of rational comment from a professional perspective and they're quick to label you a supporter and a pawn in some crazy government agenda / scheme / conspiracy plot, etc...

Amen

How about all the news articles saying how this has exposed holes in the air safety and security of the nation. Now every private pilot is going to have to go through TSA screening and cavity searches before jumping in their planes, or some other ridiculous thing.

The fully loaded plane weighed no more than 2500 lbs, but he undoubtedly had no passenger nor cargo. Empty weight was about 1200 lbs. Maneuvering speed is about 100 mph. Approximated by a Smart Car filled with gas cans at top speed (1600 lbs at 90 mph.)

He was NOT a Texas registered Professional Engineer.

Gotta love that industrial exemption.
