Spacing of air coolers

We are installing several air cooled heat exchangers, for different services, in a row, next to each other.
We will try to have the top of all the coolers at the same elevation and leave about 0.5m (1.5 ft) between them.
Are there any other recommendations for avoiding accidental hot air recirculation and interference between the coolers?

You didn't say if these coolers were forced draft or induced draft. I will presume that they are forced draft, which is the more problematic case for accidental warm air recirculation.

Placing the coolers right next to each other is a good choice. That is, with very little gap between the bays. Just be sure that you have enough room to tighten the foundtion anchor bolts.

The worst case is to leave a gap of a few feet between bays. This can create a low pressure area which can pull the warm air down to the fans.

In all cases the intake to the coolers should be high enough the allow plenty of intake area around the perimeter. Twice the fan area would be a good minimum
