Some of my tool bars don't work ?

Ok say I bring in a parasolid model an need to split it up
and do some other things.I find alot of my toolbars don't work and they are not even highlighted in need of help.

Take a deep breath, step away from the keyboard, and get more specific.
Is this something that changed? What version are you on? What equipment do you have?
I suspect you need to do the import and save the part before you can do anything to it. Only the toolbars appropriate for part changes will be active.

5.)I have imported an saved an the split toolbar still is not working, If i use SW to model up something all toolbars work.

Is the imported part a solid or a set of surfaces?
