So when I click on whatever geometry I just drew and go to define it in a sketch, my sketch does not highlight when I select it. I dont know how this property got changed but does anyone know how I might be able to change it back? Its really annoying not knowing what you are selecting! Thanks for your help!! :)

Can you be a little more clear? Are you trying to say that when you select a sketch entity it doesn't highlight? Or, are you trying to say that when you select a sketch from the FM it doesn't highlight? Or, are you trying to say that when you select the geometry, it doesn't highlight in the FM?
Now I've gone and confused myself.

Assuming that you haven't recently changed service packs, I would update to the most recent one. If you're already there, have you updated your graphics card driver lately? If so, then you should roll back to the previous driver.
If neither of those two situations are valid, then how do you feel about messing around in your registry?

Turn on the software OpenGL and see if the problem persists. If it goes away, you have a graphics card / driver issue.
