Has anyone tried this module yet?

It's an interesting concept for planning new assembly structures before creating any models. Once the structure is finished, the structure can be saved into SW and a complete set of dummy parts/assys are created.

It's somewhat limited in its functions at the moment, but could develop into a very useful tool.

Dan,

In its current form it would be of very little use to our company. We rarely start a project from scratch with empty files. You are not able to add any custom properties or existing files to the tree.

Needs a lot more features to make it useful for us.

The user interface is pretty nice, I assume that is what SW may be testing out. Would be good in a classroom environment for training new users about file dependencies. A chalk board would work for that though.

Will be interesting to see if SW develops this into anything more then the very simple application it is today.

Cheers,
