Hello-

I'm about 3 months into Solidworks. For the most part I have learned what I have needed to getme to this point. Now I'm struggling on the Tapping parts. What I'm trying to do is make a 3/4" threaded pipe. Simple I'm sure but for the life of me I can't figure it out. Can someone help from start to finish?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

If you would like to send a sample for me to break down, please do so.

Thank you,

Brandon

For standard parts like pipe nipples, I just go to McMaster-Carr's website(http://www.mcmaster.com/)and download a model in Solidworks. Saves a lot of time and trouble.

If you're trying to place a 3/4"NPT hole, start the hole wizard, select the lower, middle icon, "pipe tap" out of the six icons at the top, set the Standard to "ANSI Inch", set the Type to "taper pipe tap", set the Size to "3/4" and you should be good.
