Hello

I was wondering what the forum members think about the
book, SolidWorks for Dummies. I was thinking about
getting it but, want to see what other people comments
were about the book who got it. Thank you for your
comments

I would reccomend it. It's well written and the information is laid out in the same manner as you would work. It covers the basics as well as imtermediate level functionality and concepts. It's not just a beginners guide, there is useful unformation avaialble for all levels of user. It also has information for the SW add-ins (photoworks, animator, pdmworks, etc) and the included CD has some good information.

Thanks for your comments. One thing that I find interesting is that it says SW2005 Plus, does he mean SW2006? I think I will get the book.

I beieve he does. It does cover new SW2006 functionality where appropriate. I'm not sure what the book cost, but if it's $50 or less its well worth it.
