solidworks explorer 2006 crashing??

Just wondering if anybody else is experiencing 2006 in being very ssllllooooo

I am currently working in SW explorer and everytime I do an operation I get a the famous message "not responding" in my task manager.

Now before I get the "did you ready the other post regarding this?" message... I did read it and yes I did a fresh install (2006) and cleaned out my registry, so I am just baffled why it is running so slow.

Did you also update the files to SW06 version before working with them?
